Our journey began with a simple fascination for gemstones, particularly opals, which our owner started collecting and cutting. This hobby quickly blossomed into a full-fledged passion for the gemstone and jewelry industry.

As our collection grew, so did our ambitions. We expanded our horizons, delving into various facets of the industry, and began showcasing our unique pieces at trade shows across the nation. From our original base in Southern California, we made our mark at major trade shows along the west coast, extending our reach as far as Massachusetts. Our exhibitions included renowned events such as International Gem and Jewelry Shows (INTERGEM), Gem Faire, and the Tucson Gem and Jewelry Exchange Wholesale Show (GJX).

In 1997, we embraced the digital era by becoming one of the first gemstone and jewelry sellers on eBay. Recognizing the potential of online sales, we launched our original website in 1998, transitioning from trade shows to a robust online presence.

Today, Jamming Gems is a collaboration of two generations working hand-in-hand to cater to your gemstone and mounting needs.
